Team Canada Bobsleigh Athlete
Chaos on Ice
Bobsleigh takes the precision and speeds of Formula One and puts it on ice. There are two different disciplines women are able to train and compete in; 2women and monobob (single woman). With two different positions in a sled, the pilot, who steers the sled through a d-ring mechanism and the brakewoman, who pushes the sled and then pull the brakes after the finish.
Bobsleigh is one of the most thrilling — and punishing — sports in the Winter Olympics.
About Eden
A Canadian girl at heart, Eden loves the snow, so being a winter sport athlete was a no brainer and the opportunity to represent the great white north was an added bonus. Her gratitude for all the experiences, conversations, and life challenges she's had is unparalleled, and keeping her journey healthy and inspiring is a top priority. Eden unapologetically shows up in the world as a; women, athlete, energy giver and space holder. She brings her signature smile and lightheartedness to everything she does in hopes of bringing a little bit of light to every path she crosses. As a high-performance athlete who is bi-racial (Jamacian and Caucasian), as well as having Indigenous ancestory, Eden is no stranger overcoming adversity and is not afraid of facing it head on.
